    Stand Up and Lead:  How Thinking Like a Comedian Creates Standout Cultures

    Employers and employees continue to struggle to engage teams and drive productivity in a post-COVID hybrid, work-from-anywhere world.

Humor-led employee engagement programming has been proven to break down silos, strengthen resilience, improve retention, provide a recruiting differentiator, boost bottom lines, and more!

    In this customized program, participants won’t be transformed into stand-up comedians, but rather experience an introduction to innovative leadership based on the principles of humor that have turned marketing and communications agency Peppercomm and others into perennial top workplaces.

    And here’s the punchline: you don’t even have to be funny to do it!

    Learning Outcomes

    In this session, attendees will learn to

    • unlearn and redefine humor as a practical leadership skill, rather than something to be afraid of.
    • enhance perceptions, improve problem-solving, and deepen connection by defaulting to curiosity as a response to uncertainty and conflict.
    • embrace disruption and reframe challenges with simple, repeatable thinking exercises.
    • build upon obvious associations and challenge initial perceptions to drive creativity and innovation.
    • utilize the basics of "Yes, and" to speed the path to trust, break down silos, and streamline collaboration.
