    Summary

    We all experience set-backs, crisis and events that challenge our capabilities as well as threaten our health, our personal and business finances, and the survival of our businesses. Most of these disasters fall into one of three categories: Natural, Man-made or Technological. Unfortunately studies indicate that two out of five businesses that experience a disaster will never re-open their doors; and of the three that remain, one will close within two years. The COVID-19 Pandemic is not only a health crisis of immense proportions – it’s a natural disaster that for some is a day-to-day survival and for others it’s a view through a fog of uncertainty, where executives are thinking about how to recoup when the crisis passes, how to re-open and recover, and how to be prepared for another phase or a repeat of this disaster. One of the first places employees look to for support and direction when their organization experiences a crisis is the HR department.

    • understand strategies for communicating effectively in crisis situations
    • learn to effectively manage resources to prepare for crises.
    • gain valuable insights about resiliency in an era of disasters, crises, and radical change
