Description:Topic:  What's the impact of Covid19 on Worker Compensation Cases.

With the recent Covid-19 pandemic, employees are looking for how they could get covered under Worker Compensation.  How can employer avoid or defend themselves from potential claims.

    1.     What does New Jersey law say about first responders, public safety workers and essential workers in respect to COVID-19 and pandemics?

    2.     How do employers defend COVID-19 cases when there is a presumption of compensability? What does a presumption really mean?

    3.     What questions should employers and adjusters ask to decide whether a COVID-19 claim is compensable?

    4.     What are employers seeing concerning allegations on claim petitions for COVID-19?

    5.     What steps should employers and adjusters take when receiving COVID-19 claim petitions alleging injuries to various bodily systems, such as respiratory and cardiovascular?
