Description:
A New Kind of Diversity by Tim Elmore
All too often organizations tk diversity in the workplace is only about hiring a diverse workforce, usually based on protected classifications. While this may help overcome our human nature to associate with those who most resemble us and result in a diverse workforce, it does not create an environment of inclusiveness. The result is often the workplace harmony is out of tune and organizations fail to capitalize on the competitive advantage that a diverse workforce provides.
It’s time to rethink and reframe diversity in the workplace to “A New Kind of Diversity” and this program will focus on “Making the Different Generations on Your Team a Competitive Advantage” based on the book by Tim Elmore.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn how properly led, motivated, and unleashed, a diverse group of professionals can give your leadership team an uncommon advantage over your competitors.
- Learn more about the different generations on your team and how to give you a big picture summary of the differing perspectives on paradigms, attitudes about authority and more.
- Learn strategies to bridge the gap toward better productivity and a healthier culture and how to give you a practical strategy to create this on your team.
A New Kind of Diversity
Bestselling author Tim Elmore brings his decades of research and leadership experience to bear on what might be the biggest, most dramatic, and most disruptive shift the American workforce has ever seen: the vast diversity of several generations living—and working—together.
