    Understanding truth and deception

    • Only 7% of communication between two people is verbal!  55% comes from body language, 33% comes from tone and inflection.  Learn what is really being said.  He is saying "Yes" but his body language is saying "No"; learn how to tell the difference.
    • Decipher what is being said in a greeting, whether it's a handshake or a hug or just a smile, learn how to decipher what is being communicated.  In America the most common greeting is the handshake, learn to understand what someone is saying to you, when they shake your hand.
    • Non Verbal Behavior Recognition.  Learn to understand the body movement of another, see when they are engaged in the conversation and when they are looking to get away.
    • Understand how to identify deceptive behavior, both verbal and non-verbal clues that the person you are speaking with is trying to deceive you.
    • Learn what the eyes tell us through Neuro-Linguistics.
    • What are message clusters?  What role they play in determining truthfulness?  A deceitful employee could cost tens of thousands in lost time and money.  An unfounded harassment claim could wipe out a company.  A potential business partner seems trustworthy, but a nagging suspicion about honesty exists.  Understand the use of statement analysis and elements of neurolinguistics to spot lying so that your key decisions, that impact success or failure, are made with confidence and clarity.  Using active questioning and listening skills, gain the ability to conduct structured non-accusatory interviews to assess responses that could uncover dishonesty.

    Discover:

    • Verbal and nonverbal indicators of truth evasion
    • Proper structure of an interview to get to the facts
    • Common signs that show that a person is hiding something
    • Knowing right from the start that someone is lying presents a clear path to safeguard your company's/client's assets and intellectual property as well as your persona
